Overview
This person oversees the production planning and scheduling of Laminated Cloth and Sandpaper and ensures compliance with ISO standards. This position reports to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain master production schedules to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines.
- Ensures adequate resources for production including personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Ensures production maintains compliance with ISO 9001
- Monitoring production processes to identify potential bottlenecks and disruptions, and implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintains inventory for production.
- Operates and maintains equipment.
- Assists with investigation of customer complaints related to laminated products.
- Purchases supplies.
- Verifies status of calibrated equipment as required.
- Assists with training of new employees.
- Performs additional duties as requested by Plant Manager
Requirements
- Ability to motivate, encourage and discipline effectively.
- Mechanically inclined person.
- Experience with ISO 9001
- Mandatory to have basic computer skills to include Email/Outlook (Excel and Sage would be helpful)
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires 4 years of experience in a production related field.
- Capable of lifting 75lbs and maneuvering heavy items.
