Biotechnology company is hiring a Research Associate to join the Next Generation Sequencing lab. You will specialize in library preparation and automated workflows using the Hamilton Vantage robot. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology while working in a dynamic genomics research environment. This is a 12-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Perform library preparation for NGS, with a strong focus on high-throughput sample processing.
- Operate and optimize automated library prep workflows on the Hamilton Vantage robot.
- Conduct in-process quality control checks to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and improve automation protocols for efficiency and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support large-scale genomics applications.
