In-House Robot Programmer

I am looking for motivated, self-starting and technically minded candidates to apply as a Robot Programmer/Technician. Preferred candidates will have at least 3-5 years of experience in the robotics/automation field.

We need qualified candidates that are willing to work overtime. We have multiple positions available in Duncan, SC. Seeking permanent robot support on first shift.

Scope of work

• Competent in robotics manufacturing equipment (FANUC, ABB)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Demonstrates Problem Solving Skills
• Demonstrates efficient written and oral communication skills
• 3 years practical experience or college diploma/trade degree
• Consistent attendance
• Works well under pressure in a changing environment
• Excellent conflict resolution skills and interpersonal skills with team members
• Self-motivated & Critical thinking
• Ability to motivate the team in a positive way and provide direction to team members
• No Travel
• New product launches and line support.

Responsibilities:

• A thorough knowledge of robot programming and motion planning
• Direct experience in robot simulation and offline programming software
• Set up I/O structure, robot start-up, and (DeviceNet, Interbus, profinet) networks with minimal supervision
• Responsible for all programming activities to completion
• Through understanding of welding (MID, Spot, and projection)
• Assist with project robotic actives and assist others *Controls, Electrical, -Mechanical and Project Management) through to project complete
