Job Overview
. The Strategic Projects Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the integration of newly acquired businesses and new Greenfield locations to ensure alignment with organizational goals, seamless operations, and realization of deal value. This individual will work across functions, collaborating with leadership and operational teams to manage change, identify and mitigate risks, and optimize synergies during the post-acquisition phase. .
Essential Job Functions:
1. Integration Planning:
o Develop and execute detailed integration plans, timelines, and milestones aligned with the strategic objectives of the acquisition.
o Coordinate cross-functional integration teams, including finance, HR, IT, operations, sales, and legal.
2. Project Management:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for integration projects, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks to meet deadlines and goals.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Partner with leadership to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication during integration efforts.
o Facilitate regular status meetings, prepare reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders and executives.
4. Change Management:
o Develop change management strategies to minimize disruption and ensure cultural alignment across merging entities.
o Support employees and teams in adapting to new systems, processes, and structures.
5. Synergy Realization:
o Identify, quantify, and track synergies and cost-saving opportunities during the integration process.
o Recommend improvements to processes, systems, and organizational structures to enhance overall value.
6. Risk Management:
o Assess risks associated with integration activities and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
