SUMMARY:
Manage the On-premise Wine, Malt beverage, and Non-alcoholic businesses for American Premium Beverage. Facilitate the effective use of all assigned brand resources, in support of localized selling programs, intended to drive brand development. Manage and maintain a structured work with rotation, intended to train and identify developmental opportunities for all employees. Attain Management and departmental goals, while operating within the designated budget. Co-manage the On-Premise team of sales representatives, with direct management responsibility for designated on-premise sales representatives. Effectively plan and coordinate with all management personnel to maximize APB presence in On-premise arena. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; coaching and developing staff; rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving issue in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Expectations:
- Execute all facets of the required retail audit and work with activity curriculum, intended to identify opportunities, next step actions, and training solutions.
- Identify opportunities for wine list needs, THC beverages, bottled water, mixers, bitters, in store promotions, server training, plus, where applicable, ad features
- Maintain a sales call frequency on select key accounts, with focus on selling promotional programming, new item placement, and participation in the retailer and consumer sampling / training. At minimum, a mid year and annual business review will be conducted with key retailers.
- Participate in the development of retail programs, incentives and new brand rollouts, consisting of account specific objectives and volume forecasting
- Participate in select Management meetings to establish On-Premise objectives and pricing strategies.
- Develop sales programs that will increase sales as expected monthly
- Coordinate the attainment of weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives as established by Management
- Coordinate the development of the monthly classics sales document with On-Premise Management team
- Manage aspects of the graphics department
- Cover vacation / open pre-sale positions as needed
Manage On-Premise Business:
- Communicate promotions and collateral materials to entire APB sales team in a timely manner
- Monitor competitive activity through active survey execution and work with activity
- Develop and conduct sales presentations to key independent and local chain accounts, with the exclusive intent of expanding distribution and brand coverage
- Participate in the order development of POS material and inventory needs
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a sales call process document for servicing on-premise retailers
- Determine measurable, reportable, and accountable goals for team, while maintaining a process for evaluating results
- Conduct annual appraisal and mid year review for all employees falling under the positions area of responsibility.
- Communicate product and business information to team on a regular basis
- Document successes and opportunities for improvement for each team member
- Prepare and present monthly business reviews to the American Premium Beverage senior management team
Direction:
- Determine the responsibilities of each team member to maximize their individual abilities
- Cross Train all team members
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate APB process improvements
- Involve teams in problem solving
- Schedule team members to meet the demands of the process and cover the hours of operation
- Ensure orientation, training and coaching for new team members
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with APB practices and policies
Evaluation:
- Conduct timely reviews of accomplishments and individual opportunities based on measurable goals and communicate with each employee
- Maintain team files to include: attendance records, work reviews and current job descriptions

Computer Skills:
- Ability to read and send email
- Use of Excel to track goal objectives
- Use of internal software to run sales history reports
- Use of Word, Excel, or Powerpoint for presentations as part of
fact-based selling

- Valid NC drivers license

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
