After School Program Activity Leader
R.H. Conwell Elementary School’s After-School Program is seeking part-time Activity Leaders to teach educational enrichment activities for the school year and summer programs.
Job Description/Qualifications:
Plan, develop and implement engaging, social-emotional, academic and project-based enrichment activities. Enrichment activities may include drama, sports, literacy, STEM, outdoor adventure and exploration.
Ability to work as a team with the program coordinator, program staff and school staff.
Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops.
Enjoys working with elementary-aged students.
Schedule can be very flexible. Candidates do not have to commit to the full school year or the full school week.
Candidates will be required to have a background check as a condition of employment (CORI and fingerprinting).
Experience:
Past experience in the area you will be teaching. Teaching experience is a plus!
Past experience working with elementary school aged students (grades kindergarten to six).
College degree (not required).
Salary/Pay:
This is a non-benefited, hourly position. Pay is competitive and based on experience and education.
