Job Purpose
Receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers' requests for service by performing the following duties.

- Maintain accurate time tracking of all service technicians
- Identify appropriate technicians for job and within geographical boundaries, schedule accordingly
- Monitor time job has elapsed in order to communicate with customer if tech is running late or if technicians are in need of assistance
- Assist techs with directions and update customers account information to alleviate problem in the future
- Document scheduler by completing arrive and completion time.
- Process daily paperwork. Match packing list with work order and cross check payroll time to actual time on job. Copy of gas check/blue card/FFI to delivery department
- Payroll entry
- Ownership of customer/technician concerns, follow thru and return calls promptly
- Ensure consistent productivity of each technician
- Schedule annual clean and service for existing customers (proactively), service contracts
- Review open work order report to assess job completions
- Liaison between technician and vendor
- Records information such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered.
- Prepares work order and distributes to service crew.
- Schedules service call and dispatches service crew.
- Calls or writes customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service.
- Keeps record of service calls and work orders.
- Dispatches orders and relays messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
