JOB SCOPE:
Assist Warehouse Manager and Supervisors to mobilize equipment, materials and tools to jobsites. Delivering materials and equipment to various job sites. Help keep warehouse in orderly manner and assist warehouse manager in maintaining company equipment as well as maintaining and safely storing inventory materials. Loading, securing, unloading and operation of a CDL Class A vehicle and trailer will be required for this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Required: High School degree or equivalent
- Preferred: Trade school classes in maintenance
Experience:
- Required: CDL Class A
- Preferred: 3-5 years’ experience in driving, warehouse, distribution, equipment and maintenance with company of similar size. Receiving and shipping experience of multiple products to multiple locations. Working knowledge of inventory control. Have experience in maintaining construction equipment.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Warehouse Driver/Technician include but are not limited to the following:
- Operating forklift and loading and offloading of trucks
- Make deliveries and collections as required by the operational requirements of the company
- Keep warehouse manager and all other relevant personnel & system current of the latest material inventory
- Attain or exceed the established company goals with on-time and accurate material scheduling, availability, staging and delivery
- Performs inventory control functions as directed
- Turn in all paperwork, invoices, and PO #’s to front office as soon as possible
- Make sure all equipment, tools and materials are documented to and from jobs
- Follows procedures to ensure equipment is kept in good working condition
- Work with warehouse manager on project mobilization/ demobilization
- Must respond quickly to field supervision requirements, including the procurement and delivery of equipment
- Follows all company Operating Policies and Procedures
- Ensures that all material being delivered by vendors is properly received, inspected, counted and immediately stored in assigned location and paperwork is immediately sent to the proper person
- Ensures the timely and accurate pulling and pre-staging of consumables, tools and materials, per the “Job Inventory” form
- Keeps warehouse manager informed of all issues and potential problems that might affect the on-time delivery of items to the job
- Ensures that all areas under his/her control are neat and well organized and that all material is stored in an assigned location and protected from theft and damage
- Ensure that all items returned from job sites are properly documented and that the proper and complete documentation is forwarded to accounting
- Performs other duties and tasks as directed from time to time by the Warehouse Manager and/or other management personnel
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
- Must have skills / ability to perform quality assurance procedures
- Must be able to drive 1.5-ton truck with automatic transmission
- Must be able to pull and back up various gooseneck and ball hitch type trailers and equipment
- Must be able to maintain DOT Certification
- Must have expertise to meet or better the quality and turnaround time needs of customers
- Must have skills and ability to train and motivate personnel to achieve more than they thought possible
- Must have skills and ability to directly interface with all members of the work force, including vendors and R&H personnel at all levels
- Seek guidance and direction as necessary for performance of duties
- Maintain cooperative working relationship with other personnel both internally and externally
- Demonstrate the ability to tactfully handle difficult situations
- Recognize and perform duties which need to be performed, although not always directly assigned, and assisting others as needed
- Consistently show the ability to recognize and deal with priorities
- Perform duties in an independent manner with minimal direction and supervision

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
