What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator -Construction Services position at R.H. White Construction?
Position Summary:
The Equipment Operator II operates a variety of power construction equipment within New England states and assists utility construction crew in performing their assigned duties.
Hiring Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3 years of previous related experience and education.
- Can be qualified by an approved and competent company Operator on at least two pieces of equipment from the following (one piece per bullet):
- Telehandler/Compact Truck Loader/Front-End, Loader
- Dozer/Grader
- Backhoe, or <32k lbs. Excavator and all attachments.
- Basic GPS and drawing interpretation knowledge, helpful.
- MA Hoisting license, or other applicable state license.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to pass written tasks and associated Operator Qualification tests when applicable.
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
- Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
