Job Title: Superintendent - Mechanical Construction
The Superintendent is responsible for field operations and technical support on the project assigned to achieve the safe, timely and profitable completion of each project.
Hiring Requirements:
- High school or technical school diploma or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
- At least five years in a leadership role in building construction is required.
- Thorough knowledge of pump and machine repair, basic electrical knowledge; Knowledge and understanding of the general and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, construction means, methods and materials, understanding of line and grade and survey methods.
- Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.
- Computer skills required, including familiarity with Microsoft office suite programs.
- Knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera, Microsoft Project etc.).
- Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
