We're seeking an experienced Account Manager with a passion for sales and expertise in absence management solutions. If you thrive on building client relationships, meeting sales targets, and personalizing solutions, this role is for you!
- Market absence management solutions directly to clients and through broker relationships.
- Promote nurse case management and enhanced case management products.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Utilize systems such as Insight, Origami, and HubSpot for efficient sales and account management.
- Develop and maintain a robust book of business, aiming for three times the salary in sales before commissions.
- Personalize absence management programs to enhance employee experience and client satisfaction.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and manage the proposal process.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure comprehensive absence management policies are in place.
- Focus on group sizes, ideally targeting 1,000 employees, with a preference for larger groups (5,000 ).

- Ideally 5 years of experience in sales, ancillary benefits, or with a payroll company.
- Proven experience in sales, especially calling on HR professionals or brokers dealing with absence management.

- Strong client-focused approach with an understanding of the client's perspective.
- Self-starter with a risk-taking attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively and engage in cold calling to develop new business.
- Confidence and the ability to make calls within a month.
- Chicagoland-based is ideal but open to the right candidate with experience.
