About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Röhlig Logistics as a skilled Air Export Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and managing air export operations, ensuring timely delivery of consignments to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate air freight shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Negotiate rates with shipping vendors to increase margin on each shipment.
- Manage allocated customers, achieving and exceeding targets through excellent customer service and communication.
- Analyze employee profit and loss on each shipment, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure the department achieves its financial and quality objectives.
Requirements:
- High school graduate; some college preferred.
- Knowledge of related computer applications.
- Familiarity with basic freight forwarding procedures.
- Two - three years of previous AE experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving ability.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Shows professionalism while remaining calm under pressure.
