Job Overview

Röhlig Logistics is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for growing our business through direct sales activities and expanding our customer base.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional and national leaders to develop and implement sales strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of bids, quotations, and other sales materials.
  • Attend industry-related events and conferences to build relationships and stay up-to-date on market trends.
  • Manage personal business portfolio/territory according to agreed-upon market strategy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred; some college education desirable.
  • Knowledge of related computer applications and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with all freight forwarding procedures, regulations, and departments.
  • 2-5 years of industry-related experience required.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Proven sales and business development abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
