R.J. Corman is seeking a CDL Driver/Laborer in Houston, TX.
This position performs general truck driving and general maintenance to tractor and trailer. Task related to track maintenance with the ability to use small hand tools such as spike mauls, jack hammer, and gas powered impacts. Attention to detail and ability to work safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Hauling of rail and construction equipment.
- Transporting over-size load equipment safely.
- Loading and unloading all equipment as necessary.
- Operating truck in a safe manner.
- Maintaining daily driver’s logbook.
- Completing fuel/trip reports.
- Performs minor service and repair on truck and trailer.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to use trowels and other tools as required.
- Loading and unloading all equipment as necessary.
- Work with a team to accomplish goals.
- Heavy lifting.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
- Other job duties as assigned.
