What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Crew position at R.J. Corman Railroad Group?
Accountability: Take care of our Nicholasville campus facilities by carrying out cleaning and maintenance duties. The “Look Good” Big Rock is to be upheld throughout the campus by keeping all facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Routine maintenance.
- Help set-up and clean before and after events.
Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience:
- Must be very organized, able to set own priorities, detail oriented and flexible to work split shift hours and weekends when necessary
- Ability to handle common cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting of up to 35 pounds, sitting, standing, and working with cleaning tools, chemicals, etc.
Environmental Conditions:
- Performs duties in multiple environments including office, warehouse, bunkhouses, and storage facilities.
- Limited exposure to weather elements; appropriate PPE required.
