Accountability:
Performs basic preventative maintenance; diagnoses and resolves difficult mechanical failure of small or heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
Applies well-develop knowledge and skills of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repair to a variety of small, on-rail, and heavy equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complicated mechanical failures.
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
Orders parts as necessary for repairs.
Consults with management for large, expensive repairs.
Maintains equipment cosmetics and cleanliness.
Practices safe working habits.
Ensures working conditions are safe and that proper PPE is being used as job duties require.
