Mechanic for Locomotives and Rolling Stock: R.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Locomotive Mechanic to join our team in the Southern Region. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our locomotives and railcars by performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs.
About the Position: The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with experience working on diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics. They will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to perform maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and repair locomotives and railcars.

- Repair and replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Work with other members of the maintenance crew to complete projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in the railway industry.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 80 lbs) and stand for long periods.
