JOB OVERVIEW :
The Construction Technician is a valued member of our Construction and Trades (C&T) department, which is responsible for the skilled maintenance, building and construction work within our facilities. As a Construction Technician, you will help in construction and upgrades to our food processing facilities and offices. You will also grow your skills and knowledge by working closely with other Construction Technicians and the Construction Supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Unload and install equipment and construction materials according to plans and other drawings in accordance with food plant good manufacturing practices.
- Move, assemble, and install minor machinery and equipment
- Assemble, install, and erect all forms of walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs.
- Modify existing buildings to improve capacity, safety or quality.
- Conduct duties in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
