The Field Service Technician will provide client support for a specific geographic area in the Wichita, Kansas metro and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will represent RK Black with the utmost integrity and professionalism, personify friendliness, and possess exceptional organizational skills. Some travel to other U.S. location may be required for training.
Requirements
- Comp Tia Net Certification, or commit to obtain within six months
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Some college, vocation or military or related electro-mechanical experience
- Knowledge and experience in a network environment
- Possess a valid Kansas driver’s license with clean driving record
The Job
- Resolve equipment issues and build client rapport
- Consistently achieve the industry benchmark standards for the equipment supported
- Manage a car stock part inventory to within 2 percent
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and resolve the issue quickly and completely
- Acquire the appropriate training certifications through self-paced, web-based, or remote class methods
- Work independently, using a variety of hand tools and testing equipment
- Complete & maintain appropriate paperwork as required for the task at hand
- Represent R.K. Black, Inc. with the utmost honesty, integrity, and professionalism
