Portable Building Construction

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Portable Building Construction professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and assembling portable structures, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of construction methods, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Build and assemble portable structures using a variety of materials, such as steel, wood, and fabric.
- Conduct site visits to inspect and prepare the location for the portable building.
- Collaborate with project managers and other construction personnel to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Perform quality control checks to guarantee the structures meet safety and quality standards.
- Utilize specialized tools and forklifts, to lift and move heavy materials.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Develop and maintain a clean and organized construction site.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of portable building construction techniques and best practices.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to review project details and timelines.

Experience

- Proven experience in portable building construction or a related field is a plus but mandatory
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
