What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Associate Attorney position at R. L. Barclay & Associates, LLC?
Our client's Tax Practice, a subgroup of its Tax & Benefits practice group, is seeking an associate with four to five years' experience to join its transactional tax practice. Candidates should have solid transactional tax experience with exposure to general mergers & acquisitions and partnership issues. The position will include significant work in the private equity industry and the fund world. Candidates should have strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ideal candidates will have, or currently be in the process of earning, an LL.M. in taxation. Law firm experience is preferred but large accounting firm experience will also be considered.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state in which they practice.
