What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renewable Energy - Project Development Attorney position at R.L. Barclay & Associates?
Our client is seeking an associate to join their Energy Transactional practice group in their Washington D.C. office. They are seeking candidates with 4 to 7 years of project finance and development experience, including experience with M&A, EPCs, O&M, development, supply agreements, power purchase agreements, and project finance, ideally with renewable energy and / or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and negotiating skills, teamwork skills, and the ability to independently manage some components of deals.This is an opportunity to represent clients in a national renewable energy project finance and development practice and participate in sophisticated matters. The firm's deal teams are structured to allow associates to assume more responsibility and receive a high level of partner and client contact. Their group is comprised of team players who are supportive, flexible, and invested in helping associates develop throughout their career. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state in which they practice (Washington DC, Atlanta or New York).
