Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and Innovate
- Build data-driven solutions and designs to be used by a variety of data and visualization applications, focusing on data accuracy, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that will deliver business value.
- Support and Migrate
- Support existing ETL style workloads and migrate data solutions with evolving business needs.
- Peer Development
- Support and mentor junior developers while contributing to the overall growth of the team’s skills and assets.
Qualifications
- Required Experience
- Extensive Experience (5 years) with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or higher) developing T-SQL, SSIS Catalog, SSRS
- Expierience (3 years) with Microsost Visual Studio 2019 or higher
- Expierience (2 years) with Microsost Azure DevOps platform
- Experience with supporting SQL Server data for .NET and visualization front-end tooling – MicroStrategy, PowerBI
- Oracle(12c ), PL/SQL, XML, JSON, geospatial, or REST API experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in writing clean T-SQL code and organizing work for deployment.
- Proficient in data analaysis to answer business questions and translate into data solutions
- Able to support SQL Server performance and troubleshoot data issues.
- Manage end-to-end development processes with minimal supervision.
- Proficient understanding of modern database development and design best practice.
- Contribute to the success of high-impact, enterprise-level projects.
- Design, implement, and manage SSIS packages and other ETL processes.
- Experience working with high-traffic applications supporting large user bases.
- Soft Skills
- Proven track record of independently managing and delivering complex data projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment to deliver quality code, and to collaboratively define requirements
- Transportation Industry experience is a plus
