Maintenance Shop Foreman
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts
$100,000 based on Experience
PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

R L Carriers has an immediate need for a Maintenance Shop Foreman at our Montebello, CA. Service Center. Successful candidates for this position must possess a good work ethic and be trusted to handle valuable customer freight.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Coordinate the preventative and day-to-day maintenance & repair of heavy-duty tractors, trailers and forklifts.
- Perform day-to-day administrative duties.
- Knowledge of all major repairs on trucks, trailers and forklifts.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with air brakes, clutches, electrical repairs PM's, lift-gates, overhead door repair, etc.
- Manager experience would be a plus
- Experience with the following diagnostic software would be a plus: Insite, Diagnostic Link, ESA, Davie, DLB, Wabco, ACom, Service Ranger, Allison, Silver Snap Tool.
- Experience with SPCC Regulations, Inspecting, and Reporting would be a plus.
- CARB certification & knowledge of regulations would be a plus.
- This is a HUB facility so applicants must possess the ability to coordinate repairs & alignments with satellite locations and vendors as well.
- This location has a truck sales lot so applicants need to work with prospective buyers and our sales team to help facilitate any potential sales.
- Must have the ability to keep all shop staff up to date on any required diagnostic , safety ,or equipment training that is required .
- Must have own tools
