Terminal Location: 4015 Airpark Dr. Owensboro, KY 42301

You will be required to work in Louisville, KY temporarily until the opening of Owensboro, which is projected to open in July 2025.

Customer Service Clerk, Starting at $20.75 hr

Full-Time, Monday - Friday 7am-330pm or 830am-5pm 

Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment

R L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Customer Service Clerk to work in our Owensboro, KY Service Center office. The chosen candidate will provide a variety of executive administrative functions to support the Owner and Executive Leadership Team of R L Carriers in a professional and timely manner, which includes but is not limited to the following:

Job responsibilities:

• Display professional phone etiquette
• Data Processing- Entry-level skills
• Organization Skills and practices
• Proficient time management
• Filing, Copy-Fax Machine
• Computer knowledgeable- Internet basic, computer security practices, touch typing
• Learning and working with company computer related applications, tools, and programs.
• Must type a minimum of 25 words per minute
• Process confidential materials and information professionally at all times
• Display high energy, enthusiasm, optimism and positive attitudes

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision
• ability to effectively manage fast paced environment, with multi-tasking skills
• Exhibit accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
• Ability to communicate both verbal and written clearly and professionally
• Ability to work with in a team environment
• Highly dependable, flexible and willingness to accommodate the work environment
