What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Test Automation Engineer - Operations Platform position at R+L Carriers?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Web UI and API test automation using Katalon Studio IDE
· Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to:
o Contribute to test plan and design.
o Formulate test run scenarios.
· Develop test automation frameworks.
· Apply test scenario design patterns when needed.
· Configure infrastructure to:
o Run tests in CI/CD.
o Run tests in parallel.
o Generate appropriate test data.
· Develop report dashboards for real-time results.
· Teach others test quality best practices.
· Develop tools to assist manual and exploratory testing.
Qualifications
Required
· Minimum 3 years' experience as a software engineer.
· Familiarity with scripting languages.
· Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar).
· Strong experience in test automation.
o We expect all candidates to have proven experience with the implementation, maintenance, optimization and extension of large test suites in Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, REST-assured, or equivalent frameworks.
· Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
· Excellent command of spoken and written English.
· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
Preferred
· Familiarity with scripting/programming languages:
o Groovy (Java).
o PowerShell.
o Dotnet Framework (C#).
o JavaScript.
· Experience with Azure DevOps application lifecycle management (ALM) platform.
· Familiarity with Chrome DevTools.
· Familiarity with Windows systems and environments.
