Systems Engineer, $95,000-120,000

R L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- Design, configure, and deploy Windows-based servers and services in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Monitor server performance, conduct regular updates, and apply patches to ensure system reliability and security.
- Diagnose and resolve server and application issues, providing support for end-users and IT staff.
- Implement and manage security policies, including access controls, encryption, and auditing to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance.
- Create and maintain scripts for automation of routine tasks and system management using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes to ensure consistency and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Work with other IT team members to integrate Windows servers with other systems, including virtualization platforms and storage solutions.
