Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
*Conducting interviews and evaluating candidates for various roles.
* Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management in a timely and effective.
*Maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
*Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
* Administer employee benefits and payroll.
* Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data privacy.
* Create/develop, modify and implement training programs on HR policies and compliance.
Compliance:
* Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, safety regulations (OSHA), and industry standards.
* Manage the company's and subcontractor's insurance documents to ensure compliance at all times.
* Develop and implement compliance programs and procedures.
* Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
*Develop risk management strategies.
* Manage workers' compensation claims and safety programs.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
* Manage and maintain all company licensing and certifications.
* Assure the company is up to date on all EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) regulations.
* Manage any company legal issues that may arise.
* Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR and compliance matters.
* Prepare and present reports on HR and compliance activities.
* Collaborate with management to ensure a positive and compliant work environment.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in HR and compliance management, preferably in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
* Experience with OSHA regulations and safety programs.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
*Ability to solve problems when they arise
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with legal proceeding is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
