Job Title: Patient Care Representative
Department: Field Services
Reports To: Territory Liaison
Summary: Responsible for delivery, patient set up and retrieval of medical equipment, educating patients on proper operation and safety of equipment, and may include answering after hour phone calls in response to patient questions. In each situation, proper paperwork will need to be prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the knowledge, skill, and the ability to provide excellent customer service to medical staffs and patients. An individual must be ready to accept proper medical training so that you are capable to provide and properly fit the medical equipment to the patient’s needs. An individual must be able to coordinate schedules between patients to meet appointments in a timely manner. An individual would need to follow all compliance requirements and company policies. Above all, an individual would be required to maintain a professional and ethical manner at the highest level possible. As with any Kinex position, there may be other duties assigned.
A valid driver’s license is required along with personal transportation.
Education and/or Experience: GED or high school diploma and/or experience working within a medical facility.
Computer Skills: Strong PC Software and Web skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based tools.
Language Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to use the English language properly in written and oral communication. Also, possesses the ability to prepare patient paperwork, write reports and business correspondence.
Reasoning Ability: To perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to help solve problems.
Physical Demands: To perform this job successfully an individual must have the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and regularly lift and/or move 60 pounds.
Work Environment: Many of the job responsibilities will be performed within a clinic environment or patient home. There is minimal risk for exposure to infectious diseases as this position does have direct contact with patients.
