We are seeking a candidate for a FULL TIME HUMAN RESOURCES POSITION.
Working in office 5 days per week.
This position includes 11 paid holidays, health / dental / life insurances, vacation, sick time and 401k.

- Develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personal.
- Plan, organize and control all activities of the department. Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Revise job descriptions as necessary
- Manage the performance evaluation program, process and maintain all pay changes.
- Maintain company payroll and time record keeping systems with all new hires, terminations, deductions, profile changes, and ACA reporting.
- Recommend, develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, as needed; maintain handbook on policies and procedures.
- Conduct recruitment efforts and selection, conduct new employee hiring process, classification and compensation, employee and labor relations, prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, exit interviews, respond to unemployment notices, MCAD filings and attend hearings.
- Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
- Maintenance of personnel records, benefit records, DOT and medical records.
- Conduct all investigations and report all industrial, and worker comp accidents to insurance carriers. Maintain all records and represent the organization at all hearings. Maintain workers comp log. Prepare and process OSHA filings annually.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; interpreting and advising on employment law.
- Coordinates, work and negotiate with company use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, attorneys and other outside sources. Act as Plan Administrator for all benefits.
· Administers benefits programs such as life/AD&D, health, dental/vision, supplemental benefits, flex spending, 401(k) plan, sick leave (STD/LTD) and employee assistance, FLMA, PFML and provide benefits orientations and enrollments.
· Audit benefit billing premiums reflecting correct calculations of new or termed enrollments.
· Balance premiums, approve payment, and maintain appropriate manual GL entries.
· Ensure the effective utilization of benefit plans related to HR programs and services.
· Attend and participate in Management meetings.

- Manage the staff of the human resource department; Training and Safety Manager.

- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Knowledge and ability to file all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including HIRD, EEO, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL requirements.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work.
Skills/Qualifications
B.S. in Management or related field.
5 years’ increasingly responsible role in human resources.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Prefer payroll experience, specifically HR Checkwriters experience.
2 year’s supervisory experience.
Experience in trucking and warehousing preferred, not required
