This role will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for a variety of roles. R.P. Marzilli is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist with at least two years of recruiting experience in the construction industry to join our team. This role will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for a variety of roles. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction hiring needs, industry trends, and best practices for recruiting in a competitive labor market.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the landscape and construction industry, which will include field roles.
- Utilize multiple recruiting methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Maintain and manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure a seamless hiring process.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct reference checks, negotiate offers, and facilitate onboarding processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, wage expectations, and workforce availability to provide hiring insights.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, specifically within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction roles, labor laws, and industry hiring challenges.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in preferred.
