Overview
R&P is looking for an experienced candidate who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need an experienced Logisitican ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of waterfront logisiticans in the execution of daily functions
- Support the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Bath in logisitcs requirements
- Monitor deliverables, facilitate cross-training and distribution of team workload, and ensure that personnel are working efficiently and effectively
- Provide daily guidance in the execution of shipbuilding logistics functions
Qualifications
- experience with the logisitcs functions and products involved in Navy acquisition
- minimum 7 years experience in Navy logisitcs, with ship acquisition experience preferred
- ability to work in the office/shipyard on a daily basis- this is not a remote position
- active DoD-issued Secret clearance
