Overview
R&P is looking for a Business and Financial Management (BFM) professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We are recruiting a Senior BFM with Navy/DoD acquistion financial experience to support the management of business financial operations, cost estimation and analysis, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the DDG 51 shipbuilding program.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for overall management of business financial operations, cost estimation and analysis, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the DDG 51 shipbuilding program.
- Operate as the functional lead overseeing a small group of financial analysts in one of the multiple functional areas the overall team supports. **This would be in a non-supervisory 'functional lead' role working under a Task Lead who is in charge of the total team.
- Support government execution and compliance of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) cycles
- Support Financial Management Reviews, Execution Reviews, Comptroller data requests and initiatives, Audit Readiness and Compliance, and other similar data calls, to oversee compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements, using current software or web enabled processes to complete the reporting
Qualifications
- **MUST HAVE DoD/Navy acquisition experience.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- High school diploma with over 10 years of professional experience leading a complex and high value financial team, including 5 years recent DoD/Navy financial management; Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Specialized Experience (desired): 7 years of DoD Navy ACAT 1 financial management leadership; 7 years of DoD Navy ACAT 1 financial management leadership preferred
- Certification preferred (not required): DAWIA Level III BFM Certification Industry equivalent; Additional certifcations in PM and Cost
- Estimating Industry equivalent; PMP or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification
- Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
