About the Role
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our marketing efforts while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This hybrid role combines hands-on involvement in executing marketing campaigns—ranging from social media management to content creation—with essential administrative tasks to help keep the team organized and efficient. You’ll work closely with both the marketing and operations teams to help drive initiatives, track performance, and maintain an organized workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute creatively while building valuable experience in both marketing and administrative functions within a growing company.
What You Will Do:
  • Create, schedule, and manage dynamic content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram to support our social media strategy for 2025.
  • Track and analyze social media performance, identifying key trends and recommending improvements.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, adjusting strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Assist in executing targeted marketing campaigns that highlight our core services (surveying, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and land planning).
  • Manage and update the marketing calendar to ensure content aligns with company goals and relevant industry events.
  • Update and maintain the company website, adding new project descriptions, blog posts, and service updates as needed.
  • Design and update marketing materials such as brochures, qualifications, presentations, and email newsletters using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across platforms.
  • Handle formal RFP responses, managing timelines and submission processes.
  • Organize and maintain digital marketing assets, reports, and project timelines for easy access and collaboration.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare agendas, and document detailed notes during meetings.
  • Support client communication efforts, including follow-ups, appointment scheduling, and addressing basic inquiries.
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of company events, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  • Perform data entry and keep accurate records for client projects, marketing performance, and administrative tasks.
  • Act as the go-to contact for all marketing and administrative inquiries, ensuring timely responses and resolution.
  • Carry out other tasks as needed to support the marketing team and business operations.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in marketing coordination or administrative support, ideally within the engineering, architecture, or construction sectors.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Loomly, Hootsuite, Buffer) and familiarity with social platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and InDesign.
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Photography skills are a bonus!
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to lift and move 25 pounds at a time.
The Position:
The Marketing Coordinator position is part-time 20-25 hours per week, hourly nonexempt position working onsite with flexible and hybrid schedule work options. This position requires flexibility to accommodate campaign deadlines, events, and occasional in-office meetings.
The hourly range for this role is: $20-$25/hr.
This is a part-time position designed to cover a leave of absence. While initially temporary, there is potential for the role to be extended based on performance and the evolving needs of the company. We are looking for someone who can effectively support our team during this period and potentially grow into a longer-term opportunity.
