RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibility is to assist the Sales Executive and Account Team in servicing the needs of our clients, through the renewal process and throughout the year. This includes overseeing the marketing process, assisting with the renewal efforts, and with the coordination of services between the client and the insurance company.
- Create proposals for renewals and new business, use quoting systems to obtain rates
- Strong data–entry and basic administrative skills to assist with various projects as needed.
- Ability to use Form Fire for completing the medical underwriting process
- Order marketing materials from carriers, put together new hire and open enrollment kits
- Collaborate with the Sales Executive as needed; on benefit, cost, and plan design and market alternatives.
- Organize, outline and prepare in collaboration with the Sales Executive renewal and other benefits-related meeting presentations.
- Lead marketing efforts from beginning to end, including collecting necessary data/information, drafting proposal requests and preparing summary exhibits for the Sales Executive to present.
- Work with the Sales Executive and Account Managers on vendor implementations, issue resolution, performance monitoring and document finalization.
- Assist clients with annual/open enrollment planning; prepare materials, fulfill and distribute materials and present enrollment presentations to employee groups, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate/Bachelor’s Degree preferred (1-3 years insurance related experience preferred)
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Sound organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Polished oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Life & Health license preferred
