- Bachelor’s Degree in insurance, risk management, data analytics or related field
- 1-3 years of insurance, risk management related and/or data analysis experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, demonstrating advanced skills in Excel and Power Point
- Above average oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a helpful attitude
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Displays leadership and confident decision-making abilities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive personal information
- Life & Health Insurance License to be obtained within 90 days of employment
What you’ll be doing…
The main responsibility for this role is to assist in the development of plan designs for R&R’s sales team by providing knowledge on general insurance, risk management and data analytic concepts.
- Provide account handling assistance to producers, management, client service managers and carriers
- Maintain and update monthly reporting databases
- Obtain additional information when needed for incomplete documents
- Manage data entry for financial analytic specific software and programs; entering large amounts of data with minimal to zero errors
- Expand knowledge base regularly as updates become available
- Stay current on workload, maintaining organization and meeting deadlines
- Provide timely response to customer and carrier requests, asking for assistance as needed
- Begin to develop professional relationships with producers, carriers and clients
