What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Rí Rá Irish Pub?
We are looking for experienced servers to join our Team in Rí Rá Irish Pub in Portland, Maine! Our pub has a heavy banqueting / large party business so experience in this area is preferred! The positions available are full-time or part-time.

- You have a high level of passion for, and strong knowledge of, food and beverage
- You have experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant setting
- You ideally have TIPs alcohol procedures certification, alongside any State or County required license requirements for the service of food and alcohol
What You Will be Doing
- Making food and beverage recommendations to guests to best suit their preferences and personal tastes
- Serving food and beverages to guests in a friendly, timely and accurate manner within an assigned section
- Interacting with guests
- Adhering to all local and state laws regarding the service of alcohol and food; including Steps of Service and alcohol service standards
- Ensuring that the section, and associated stations / areas are kept stocked and are maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner
- Ensuring that all set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
- Assisting in representing the brand and business at the local level
- Having fun!
