A Day in the Life of a Landscaping Crew Member
- 6:30-7:30 AM – Start Your Day: Check in, load equipment, and prepare for the day’s job sites.
- Head to Job Sites: Travel with your crew, ensuring all equipment is secured and ready.
- Lawn Care Work: Mow, trim, edge, and blow to maintain well-kept landscapes.
- Professionalism Matters: Communicate with team members and clients while keeping job sites clean and organized.
- Follow the Plan: Maintain each property according to company standards.
- Wrap Up the Day: Return to the shop after completing all scheduled properties.
- Clean and Prep: Unload trucks, clean equipment, and prepare for the next day.
What We’re Looking For
- One to three years of professional lawn maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, and other equipment
- Willingness to expand horticultural knowledge and learn on the job
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to remain professional in all situations
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing and lifting over 50 pounds
