Our expertise also extends to gutters, drywall, paint and concrete work.
The Role:
The Roofing Inspector is responsible for assessing and evaluating the condition of roofs, ensuring compliance with building codes, manufacturer specifications, and safety standards. This role involves conducting inspections, documenting findings, and providing recommendations for repairs or replacements. As a roofing inspector you will play a pivotal role in doing roofing/siding inspections. If you would like to do more than just roof inspections we will teach you that as well. You will influence business growth by identifying and securing new clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and delivering excellent customer service. Your ability to build lasting relationships with clients will be key to your success.
What You’ll do: (Training & Mentorship Provided)
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial roofs to assess condition, damage, and potential issues.
- Identify roof defects, leaks, storm damage, and general wear and tear.
- Prepare detailed reports with photographs, inspection notes, and repair/replacement recommendations.
- Ensure roofing installations meet industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local building codes.
- Work closely with contractors, homeowners, and insurance adjusters to provide accurate assessments.
- Recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions based on inspection findings.
- Verify the quality of roofing materials and workmanship during new installations or repairs.
- Utilize drones or other technology for inspections when necessary.
- Educate property owners about roof maintenance, potential risks, and best practices.
- Present, promote, and sell services to new and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain positive business relationships.
- Coordinate efforts with team members and other departments. We are a team and like to help one another.
- Supply management with information on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products and services..
- Participate in industry events and conferences as needed.
You are a great fit if:
- Would consider yourself a people person. If you are open to having conversations with people. If you can talk to people regularly there's no reason you can't make six figures in this role.
- You have proven work experience in construction, sales, marketing, or similar role. Again, we will train and mentor you.
- Your knowledge of MS Office is basic.
- You played around with documentation software or familiar with email and google drive.
- You are a self-motivated person and open to learning new skills.
- You adapt quickly to changes with a good ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
- You have fun on short trips around the Salt Lake Valley area, just remember, you must have a valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation to enjoy these trips.
