Part Time Interior Designer

What you'll do:

Creates and assists with interior design projects for R&R Properties by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Embraces and actively demonstrates R&R Realty Group s core values.
• Creates CAD/Revit drawings.
• Confers with client to determine architectural preferences, purpose and function of the environment, budget, types of construction, equipment to be installed, and other factors which affect planning interior environments.
• Advises client on design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, color and finish schemes and color coordination. Review rough sketches, drawings and specifications from staff, vendors, tenants and enhance drawings as project requires.
• Serves as a liaison for tenants and furniture vendors for design cohesion and customer service experience.
• Site verifies existing R&R spaces for accuracy.
• Works directly with REA, MPI and Ownership on the development of new, and existing properties. Assists with the aesthetic and product specification of new builds and existing property improvements and assists with construction documentation to support such projects.
• Assists with the construction and maintenance of the R&R Tenant Improvement Product Specification Standards. Works closely with product vendors to negotiate industry best pricing.
• Assists in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans and programs to support sales and revenue projects. Coordinates and executes various strategies through the use of marketing presentations, project and design documentation (renderings), brochures/flyers, and master plans.
• Interfaces with all members of the leasing team and is involved in showings, proposals and RFP responses.
• Maintains working knowledge in industry as it relates to space layout, furniture and design and industry specific codes and standards including BOMA Standard Methods of Measurement.
• Maintains various databases, customer, and prospect files.
• Ensures effective control of personal expense account to guarantee that it falls within designated budget.
• Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout the brokerage and business community.
• Drives to all R&R properties and various locations as the position requires.

What it takes to join our team:

• Bachelor s degree (B.A.) in Interior Design from four-year College or University preferred.
• Minimum of Associate degree (A. A.) in Interior Design from two-year College or technical school.
• 2 years experience and/or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
