Rockfield | R&S Landscaping is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Crew Leader to oversee daily operations and manage construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, meet high-quality standards, and exceed customer expectations while managing a team of construction professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the landscape construction crew, ensuring efficient project completion
- Review and implement project plans with the Landscape Construction Project Manager
- Maintain accurate daily records of crew time, materials, and job progress
- Safely transport and manage equipment and materials to job sites
- Establish grades and ensure safety compliance
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training to crew members to develop their skills
- Maintain and organize trucks and equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in landscape construction with leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a trailer (manual transmission a plus)
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage project timelines and complete daily paperwork accurately
- Knowledge of plant identification and landscape construction techniques
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and lead a team safely
