Millwright

R&S Maintenance is currently seeking experienced millwrights and field laborers to join our team. Welding experience is not required, but is an advantage.

Job Description Role and Responsibilities
Below are listed many of the main roles and responsibilities of a Field Millwright at R&S Maintenance Services, Inc. This list is not exhaustive and there may be other duties assigned.

· Installing machineries

· Repair of damaged machineries

· Lift machineries, place them on designated areas, and position them

· Aligning gears and attaching motors

· Connection of belts

· Reading blueprints

· Lubricating equipment

· Comply with regulations and safety requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Candidates for the Millwright position shall have at least a high school diploma or GED, Vocational training or at least 4 years of on the job training, pass any and all relevant mechanical aptitude tests, and may undergo trainings and technological advances. Candidates must also be able to lift at least 25 pounds comfortably. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Preferred Skills
· Mechanical drawing skills

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Time-management skills

· Welding skills

· Carpentry skills

· (Optional, but useful) Proficiency in mathematics and science

· GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
