The Vice President of Operations Analytics will be responsible for leading data-driven decision-making across sales and operations, optimizing performance, and driving strategic growth initiatives. The VP will work closely with senior leadership, sales teams, operations, and IT to develop and implement data strategies that align with corporate objectives. They will also play a critical role in advancing digital transformation, leveraging AI, automation, and predictive analytics to enhance business performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop data-driven strategies to assist the sales teams to enhance revenue growth and market penetration.
- Assist with sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Leverage AI and machine learning to optimize customer segmentation, lead scoring, and conversion rates.
- Design and implement real-time dashboards and reporting tools to monitor sales performance and drive accountability.
- Utilize data analytics to improve operational efficiency, supply chain performance, and demand forecasting.
- Work with operations teams to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity through process optimization.
- Lead efforts to integrate automation and AI-driven insights into operations for improved decision-making.
- Develop predictive analytics models to anticipate market trends, demand fluctuations, and inventory needs.
- Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, providing insights on sales and operational performance.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility for business decision-making.
- Partner with marketing to align data-driven insights with customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Drive a culture of data literacy and analytics adoption across sales and operations teams.
- Provide leadership on business intelligence (BI) initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the development and implementation of AI-powered analytics tools to enhance decision-making.
- Oversee the integration of CRM, ERP, and other sales/operations data platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies, analytics platforms, and automation tools to improve efficiency.
- Foster innovation by identifying emerging analytics trends and best practices to drive competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with product teams and supply chain to analyze customer feedback, feature usage, and market trends.
- Utilize data to drive product innovation and development roadmaps.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Analytics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10 years of experience in sales analytics, operations analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
- Proven leadership experience managing analytics teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), CRM systems (e.g., Zoho), and ERP platforms.
- Strong background in predictive analytics, AI/machine learning applications, and automation.
- Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or distribution industries is a plus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, during day shift hours. Business meetings and customer activities may occasionally require work be conducted after hours or on weekends.
Travel
Travel for this position and will consist of local travel during the business day in addition to out-of-the-area and overnight travel. Travel up to 50% should be expected.
