Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting We Win Hearts Company-wide culture at all times.
- Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across various systems and platforms.
- Monitor and enforce data standards, data definitions, and data lifecycle management.
- Conduct data audits and data profiling to identify and address data quality issues.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data-related projects and initiatives.
- Identify and resolve application performance and availability issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, business rules and source to target data mappings for IT development teams to implement.
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate data findings.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business goals.
- Provide training and support to business users on data management practices and tools.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements related to data management and business analysis.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data governance and business intelligence.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to data systems and business processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)) are a plus.
- At least two (2) years of experience in data management or data stewardship roles.
- Working knowledge in Hospitality, Gaming and/or Accounting applications, and others.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Cognos, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to communicate effectively with Stakeholders, Team Members, Product Owners, and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Must be able to work on call on a rotational basis as required.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
