JOB SUMMARY:
The Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure DevOps solutions. This role will focus on automating infrastructure, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and enforcing security best practices in a cloud-based environment.
MINIMUM TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience managing containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance best practices.
- Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Desirable Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Experience working with State or Federal government agencies.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.
