Job Description;

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high availability of the z/OS Mainframe and related network components, including TCP/IP.
- Maintain and support the z/OS Communication Server in alignment with industry standards and customer needs.
- Coordinating efforts with application and z/OS Mainframe teams.
- Diagnose, document, and resolve Mainframe network-related issues involving z/OS, z/Linux, TCP/IP, VTAM, IBM MQ, IBM Omegamon, CICS, Connect:Direct (NDM), FTP, and other mainframe products.
- Monitor and report on system and product performance using tools like IBM Omegamon.
- Evaluate, analyze, test, and implement Mainframe network software technologies, security features, and performance monitoring tools.
- Provide training and communication to associates and clients regarding new upgrades and products.
- Identify and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement strategies to optimize mainframe networking environments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive experience with z/OS Mainframe networking and related components (TCP/IP, VTAM, IBM MQ, IBM Omegamon, and CICS).
- Expertise in Mainframe network troubleshooting, performance monitoring (IBM Omegamon), and system optimization.
- Experience in CICS transaction management and network performance tuning.
- Project management experience with strong cross-team coordination skills.
- Knowledge of Mainframe security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
