Location: in office every day Mon-Fri in downtown Houston, TX (parking is provided) Can choose an earlier shift like 6am-3pm or later like 9am-6pm

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Systems Administrator with a strong focus on end-user support and systems management. This role will primarily work with Microsoft Azure, Office 365 (O365), Intune, and SCCM, ensuring the smooth deployment, configuration, and support of user devices and software across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing system images, packaging software, and working with Intune and SCCM policies to ensure compliance, security, and optimal performance for end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Configuration & Imaging: Build and configure system images for end-user devices (Windows, macOS) to streamline deployment and ensure uniformity across the organization.
- Software Packaging & Deployment: Package software applications and deploy them via Intune, SCCM, or other management tools, ensuring software is up-to-date and meets organizational needs.
- End User Support: Act as the primary point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting issues related to operating systems, software, and hardware for end-users.
- Policy Management in Intune & SCCM: Develop and implement policies for device security, compliance, and configuration management through Microsoft Intune and SCCM, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Azure & O365 Administration: Provide day-to-day administration of Microsoft Azure environments, including user management, security settings, and O365 apps configuration.
- SCCM Management: Administer SCCM for software updates, patch management, operating system deployment (OSD), and inventory management, ensuring devices are compliant and properly configured.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor systems for performance and security issues, generating reports and taking action to resolve incidents.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with other IT teams to identify needs, propose solutions, and document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- End-User Training: Offer guidance and training to end-users regarding best practices, new software deployments, and tools like O365 apps and Intune.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure, O365 administration, Intune, and SCCM.
- Hands-on experience in building and configuring Windows and macOS system images.
- Strong skills in software packaging, deployment, and management using Intune and SCCM.
- Experience working with group policies, device configuration profiles, and compliance policies in Intune and SCCM.
- Proficient in troubleshooting end-user issues related to hardware, software, networking, and security.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with non-technical end-users.
- Experience in creating and managing user accounts, permissions, and security policies in Azure and O365.
