What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Technician position at R&T Staffing LLC?
The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep and appearance of the property, including but not limited to, common areas, grounds, and apartments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments, common areas, and grounds as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager
- Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management
- Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months - 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 8 am - 5 pm
- Sometimes on call during weekends
Pay:
- $18 - $20/hr.
