We are looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team at our Ashland location.
R Vet at Ashland is located in the heart of Ashland, MO in southern Boone County. This family-owned, full-service, companion animal and exotic clinic is looking to make great additions to the team as we plan on expanding our hours of operation over the next couple of months. We are excited to grow and provide more value to the wonderful community we serve!

Responsibilities for this role include: ability to administer injections, perform venipuncture, take vitals, restrain animals when necessary for examination or treatment, provide treatments/medication as necessary, assisting veterinarians in medical procedures (including surgical), maintaining and using medical equipment such as IDEXX Lasercyte/autoclave, performing routine laboratory procedures and analyses, preparing samples for outside laboratory analysis, monitoring patients under anesthesia (inducing anesthesia and intubation), initiating emergency procedures, maintaining pharmacy records/test logs, taking and developing radiographs, performing dental cleanings, completing ear cleanings and nail trims, and performing other duties as assigned.
