Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to minimize data loss in the event of system failures or disasters.
Conduct regular tests and audits of backup systems to verify data integrity and availability.
Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot backuprelated issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define backup requirements and implement appropriate strategies to meet business objectives.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in backup and recovery to continuously improve backup operations.
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience as a Backup Administrator or a similar role in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of backup and recovery concepts methodologies and tools.
Experience with backup software such as Veritas NetBackup Veeam Commvault or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of storage technologies data deduplication and encryption techniques.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
